Jacksonville: ACPS Encourages New Year's Resolutions for Pet Owners and Their Pets
The Floridant/10102101

Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) wants pet owners to not only set health and wellness goals for themselves this year, but to set similar goals for their pets.

"Each New Year, many of us set goals for ourselves, not realizing that our pets can also benefit from a challenge. For example, if you pledge to exercise more, set the same goal for your pet(s) so that you can tackle the resolution together," explained ACPS Division Chief Jennifer Walter.

ACPS recommends the following resolutions for your pet: "New Year's resolutions are a great time for a fresh start for everyone," said Walter. "After a difficult year, it is a fun opportunity for a fresh start."
