Island Wellness Pharmacy introduces new prescription pickup kiosk in Sanibel

SANIBEL ISLAND, Fla. - Floridant -- Island Wellness Pharmacy, set to open later this year, has launched a new pickup kiosk located inside Jerry's Foods, making it easier than ever for Sanibel residents to access vital medications. This innovative prescription pickup kiosk will operate in partnership with their sister location, Cypress Wellness Pharmacy, in Fort Myers.

The self-service prescription pickup kiosk features 22 temperature-controlled lockers and uses advanced technology to provide a secure, user-friendly experience. The iLocalBox smart kiosk will serve as another convenient option for patients to pick up and pay for their prescriptions, ensuring they can access their medications without delay.

"We are excited to partner with Jerry's Foods and offer this innovative solution to our Sanibel community," said Owner and Pharmacist Justin Ceravolo of Cypress Wellness Pharmacy and Island Wellness Pharmacy. "Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to access essential medications for patients and their pets, particularly during the construction of our new Sanibel location. Once we open, the kiosk will remain a complimentary service for our island patients."

Sanibel patients wishing to use the kiosk can have their prescriptions sent directly to Cypress Wellness Pharmacy by their health care providers. During the construction of the new Island Wellness Pharmacy, prescriptions will be delivered to the kiosk twice a week for a $3 delivery fee. Once opened, the kiosk pickup service will be offered at no extra charge to patients on the island. This service benefits patients needing after-hours pickup, as the kiosk will be available outside the pharmacy's regular hours.

Situated within Jerry's Foods, access to the kiosk is limited to the store's operating hours, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. This provides a quick way for residents and shoppers to obtain their prescriptions, over-the-counter items, CBD, supplements and more from the pharmacy. Patients will receive a secure pickup code via text or email when their order is ready. To access the kiosk, patients tap the screen, enter their secure code, and follow the on-screen prompts to retrieve their order.
