NAPLES, Fla. - Floridant -- Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance welcomes David Millstein to its board of directors. A nonprofit 501(c)(3), Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance was created in 2018 by a group of concerned citizens who saw the damage done by Hurricane Irma to already substandard trailers and shacks rented by farmworkers, essential workers and other low-income families in Immokalee. The organization is currently constructing the first of eight new affordable housing units for qualifying families.
A former attorney, Millstein brings a host of knowledge and education to Immokalee Fair Housing Alliance. Millstein is from Jeannette, Pennsylvania and has been a resident of Naples for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University. He started his law career as a staff attorney with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and practiced until 2020 as a solo practitioner.
