$9.5 Million Kipp Schulties East Course Renovation Completed
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- In a significant milestone for Hunters Run Country Club, Richard Kapner, Club Chairman, officially cut the ribbon, marking the completion of the Club's $9.58 million East Golf Course renovation. Designed by the renowned Kipp Schulties Golf Designs, the updated 18-hole course, one of three at Hunters Run, is currently in its grow-in phase following construction, which began in March 2024.
"The East Course has been a staple of our golfing experience since its last renovation in 2008. Over the years, it has withstood the challenges of time, year-round play, and a dramatic increase in rounds," said Larry Savvides, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. "This renovation is a step in ensuring that as part of the Club's prize assets, it is preserved for optimum playability for current and future members. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the unwavering support of the membership and the Board in making today possible."

The East Golf Course renovation is another of Hunters Run's " Progress in Motion" initiatives. Savvides explains, "Our mission statement drives our motives to excel as a 'country club community dedicated to exceptional facilities and memorable experiences,' and that is exactly what we are doing."
The renovation follows refurbishments to three restaurants in the Clubhouse, new equipment in the Fitness Center, a complete renovation of the Club's Driving Range that includes Toptracer technology, a new front monument street entrance, and enhancements to the Club's 12 pickleball courts, all part of a long-range "Vision in Progress" Master Plan. But it doesn't stop there. "Progress in Motion is not just about renovating and upgrading the Club's facilities; it includes enhancements in services, management, and employee culture," Savvides adds.
A luxury country club community with 1,649 residences in 23 communities, Hunters Run is located on 990 landscaped acres in East Boynton Beach, FL. It is well-known for its three unique 18-hole championship golf courses, two driving ranges, and a short-game area.
