FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers is hosting a First-Time Homebuyers Summit in partnership with Premier Lifestyle Group on Thursday, June 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to support aspiring buyers on their paths to homeownership.
Free for the public to attend, the event will guide participants in how to engage with local entities involved in the homebuying process, including banks, real estate agents, mortgage and loan officers and more. The Summit will also allow participants to build valuable connections with local experts, network and learn from others' experiences.
"We are so grateful for all of our partners who are helping us provide this opportunity to first-time homebuyers," said Joshua McKie, director of the housing choice voucher program at The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers. "Our goal is to increase knowledge of and access to stable housing, and we hope that the public will take advantage of this Summit and the free resources we will be providing."
