ESTERO, Fla., Sept. 13, 2023 ~ Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: HTZ) announced today that Paul Stone, Chief Operations Officer and President, will be stepping down from his role effective September 30, 2023. Stone will remain employed with the company in a transitional capacity until October 31, 2023.
Stephen M. Scherr, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Hertz Global Holdings, Inc., expressed his gratitude for Stone's leadership during the company's restructuring. He also stated that he looks forward to completing the leadership team and transforming the future of Hertz with the selection of a new COO.

Stone expressed his confidence in Scherr's leadership team and their ability to deliver meaningful value for customers and shareholders in the years ahead. The company will begin a search for a new COO in short order. In the meantime, key operations leadership will report directly to Scherr.
