JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Floridant -- GreenPointe Holdings proudly announces that Grady Miars has been named President and Chief Operating Officer for GreenPointe Holdings, a diversified holding company that brings together the necessary disciplines to create sustainable, high-value communities. Since 2010, Miars has served as President of GreenPointe Developers, the master-plan community and urban development division of GreenPointe Holdings. Miars will continue to report directly to Ed Burr, GreenPointe Holdings Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

In his new role, Miars will oversee long-term strategic operational planning and procedures, set comprehensive goals for corporate performance and growth, ensure GreenPointe's financial strength and efficiency, and oversee daily operations of the company and executive team.
Miars' career spans the disciplines of land acquisition, development and sales management, and includes involvement in more than 35 master-planned communities, 13 golf courses and over $2 billion in land and sales revenue. Prior to joining GreenPointe, Miars served as Regional Vice President for Crescent/LandMar Group and as Vice President/General Manager for The Bonita Bay Group.
Miars earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University Lutgert College of Business and a bachelor's degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Rollins College.
