FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- The Greater Fort Myers Chamber is hosting its second annual Level HER Up Women's Conference Wednesday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Presented by the Chamber's Women in Business committee and Lee Health and hosted by the FSW Foundation, the one-day program is built upon growing and nurturing the health, empowerment and renewal of women across Southwest Florida. The event will feature engaging speakers, informative health experts, professional workshops and other opportunities designed to help local women take their careers to the next level.
The Level HER Up conference will feature keynote speaker Melissa Hughes, author and self-proclaimed neuroscience geek. Hughes is the author of "Happy Hour with Einstein," "Happy Hour with Einstein: Another Round," and "Happier Hour Gratitude Journal."
After spending the first half of her professional career in education studying the science of learning, Hughes realized that learning how to think creatively and communicate effectively is even more important in the workplace. Hughes combines her experience in teaching and learning with extensive research in neuroscience, behavioral science and psychology to inspire others to tap into their inner genius.
