TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a statement released today, Governor Ron DeSantis has announced the reappointment of Morteza "Mori" Hosseini and Fred Ridley to the University of Florida Board of Trustees.

Hosseini, who currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ICI Homes, has been an active member of his community for many years. He is currently the Chairman of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Board of Trustees, the Allstar Building Materials Board, and the Southern Title Family of Companies Board. He has also previously served as Chairman of the Board of Governors for the State University System and as a member of the Halifax Health Board of Commissioners.

Hosseini's impressive educational background includes a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and honorary doctorate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Joining Hosseini on the board is Fred Ridley, a Partner at Foley & Lardner, LLP. Ridley is also an active member in his community and currently serves as Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament. He has previously held the position of National Chair for Foley's Real Estate Practice.

Ridley received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and his juris doctor from Stetson University.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
