Florida's efforts in immigration enforcement have been commendable. The state currently has more deputized state law enforcement officers under 287(g) task force deputizations than any other state in the country. In addition, over 100 Florida Highway Patrol Troopers have been sworn in as Special Deputy U.S. Marshals, granting them authority to execute federal warrants and remove dangerous criminals from communities.
But Florida is not stopping there. The governor shared that their plan includes a proposal to deputize Florida National Guard JAGS as immigration judges, which would help expedite immigration legal processing.
With this strong stance on immigration enforcement, Florida continues to lead by example and remains committed to protecting its citizens and upholding America's sovereignty.
