Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Tim Weisheyer to the Florida State University Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Tim Weisheyer to the Florida State University Board of Trustees. Effective August 30, 2025, Weisheyer will join the board as a new member.

Weisheyer brings a wealth of experience to the position, serving as the Owner and Broker of Dream Builders Realty, President and Broker of DBRCommercial Real Estate Services, and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Advantage Consulting. He is also actively involved in his community, holding positions such as President of the Florida Realtors Association and Chair of the Osceola County Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Weisheyer has also been elected to the Osceola County School Board and served as President of the Florida School Boards Association. He attended Valencia College.

However, this appointment is still subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. If confirmed, Weisheyer will bring valuable expertise and leadership to the Florida State University Board of Trustees.
