TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Jeff Vahle to the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees. Vahle, who currently serves as the President of Walt Disney World Resort, brings a wealth of experience and community involvement to this new role.

Aside from his successful career at Disney, Vahle is also an active member of his community. He currently serves on the Rollins College Board of Trustees and the Florida Council of 100. He has also previously served on the Give Kids the World Board of Directors.

Vahle's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University and a master's degree in business administration from Rollins College.

However, this appointment is still subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. If confirmed, Vahle will join the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees in their efforts to guide and support the university's mission and goals.
