TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed three new members and reappointed one member to the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board. The newly appointed members are Brandon Graves, Frank Griffin, and Nicole Ramos Jones, while Prakash "Paul" Patel has been reappointed.

Graves brings a wealth of experience to the board as the Chief Executive Officer at Stronghold SOF Solutions. He is also a veteran of the United States Army and currently serves as a fundraising volunteer for the Special Operators Transition Foundation. Graves holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from Valdosta State University.

With over 40 years of experience in the appraisal industry, Griffin is a Certified General Appraiser and Real Estate Broker at Griffin Real Estate and Appraisals. He also holds a bachelor's degree in business and golf club management from Ferris State College.

Ramos Jones, an Associate Attorney at Wynn & Associates, PLLC, is known for her active involvement in her community. She is a member of the Junior League of Panama City and volunteers as a mentor for Take Stock in Children. Ramos Jones holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Auburn University, a master's degree in higher education and student affairs from Florida State University, and a juris doctor from Samford University.

Patel has been reappointed to the board after serving as a Realtor for Weichert Realtors. He is also an active member of his community through his involvement with BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir of Orlando. Patel earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. The Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board plays an important role in regulating real estate appraisers in the state to ensure fair practices and protect consumers. With these new appointments, Governor DeSantis is confident that the board will continue to serve its purpose effectively.
