PLANT CITY, Fla. ~ Plant City, Florida - Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis were the keynote speakers at the Central Florida Leadership Prayer Breakfast today. The couple addressed the audience about their administration's commitment to faith, family, and life. They also highlighted the success of Hope Florida in connecting the faith community with Floridians in need.

The prayer breakfast, organized by All Pro Pastors, a nonprofit organization founded in 2007, aims to create support and fellowship among pastors. Governor DeSantis expressed his gratitude towards the faith-based institutions in Florida for their long-standing service and contribution to strengthening communities across the state.

"We are proud to support and partner with the faith community in Florida," said Governor DeSantis. "Their critical role in the Hope Florida initiative has helped countless families and mothers find help and success."

First Lady Casey DeSantis also praised the faith leaders for their dedication to serving Florida families through Hope Florida's CarePortal. She emphasized that by uniting individuals from all sectors of the community, they have created a network of support that goes beyond what government can do alone.

Hope Florida is an initiative that provides Hope Navigation services to Floridians in need. It also financially supports nonprofits and churches through the Hope Florida Fund. By focusing on community collaboration between private sector organizations, nonprofits, government entities, and faith-based communities, Hope Florida guides individuals towards prosperity and economic independence.

Through its CarePortal program, participating churches are alerted about immediate needs within their communities. These churches then compete to meet those needs. Floridians can reach out for help by calling 833-GET-HOPE where they will be connected with Hope Navigators who will assist them in identifying their needs, setting long-term goals, mapping out a path forward, and ensuring all sectors of the community are involved in finding a lasting solution.

Since its launch three years ago, Hope Florida has helped nearly 30,000 Floridians reduce their reliance on government assistance. This reduction is estimated to save the state approximately $800 million over the next decade.
