TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ Today, Governor Ron DeSantis received a number of bills from the Florida Legislature. The Governor has until June 20, 2023, to act on these bills. Among them are CS/CS/HB 213, which limits actions involving real estate appraisers and appraisal management companies; HB 227, which concerns Lee Memorial Health System in Lee County; CS/CS/HB 327, which deals with fire sprinkler system projects; CS/HB 329, which involves electronic monitoring of persons charged with or convicted of offenses involving schools or students; CS/CS/HB 331, which relates to liens and bonds; HB 407 concerning the Apalachicola Bay Area of Critical State Concern; HB 567 regarding Lake Padgett Estates Independent Special District in Pasco County; CS/HB 599 concerning debt management services; CS/HB 619 regarding state estate tax; HB 719 concerning the practice of veterinary medicine; CS/HB 773 regarding Hernando County School District in Hernando County; CS/CS/HB 775 concerning shared parental responsibility after the establishment of paternity; HB 793 concerning collateral protection insurance; CS/HB 815 regarding Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District in Okaloosa County; CS/CS/HB 869 regarding the Department of Business and Professional Regulation; CS/CS/HB 897 concerning group health plans; CS/CS/HB 919 regarding homeowners' associations; SB 2 providing relief for the estate of Molly Parker; SB 4 providing relief for Maria Garcia by the Pinellas County School Board ; SB 6 providing relief for the estate of Jason Sanchez by Miami-Dade County ; SB 8 providing relief for Leonard Cure ; SB 10 providing relief for Kristin A.
