Golisano Children's Hospital hosts Spirit Halloween party for patients and families

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Golisano Children's Hospital hosted a Spirit Halloween party for patients and their families Oct. 17. Spirit Halloween provided costumes and games.

The event is part of the Spirit of Children fundraiser, a partnership between Spirit Halloween and Child Life programs nationwide. In addition to the annual party at the hospital, Spirit Halloween's customers through Oct. 31 can donate or round up their purchase at checkout with 100% of proceeds going to the Golisano Children's Hospital Child Life program.

Shoppers can also present a coupon for 10% off their total purchase at participating locations, and Spirit Halloween will donate 10% back to Golisano Children's Hospital. Coupons are available at LeeHealthFoundation.org/Spirit (https://leehealthfoundation.org/event/spirit/) and can be redeemed at the following locations:

Since 2007, Spirit Halloween has donated more than $471,000 to Golisano Children's Hospital Child Life program. These dedicated professionals use evidence-based techniques, such as medical play and therapeutic disciplines, to bring joy and comfort to hospitalized kids and their families, helping normalize their hospital experience.
