FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 24, 2024 ~ GA Telesis, LLC, a leading company in the commercial aviation and aerospace industry, has made a major announcement today. The company has signed a definitive purchase agreement and received the necessary corporate approvals to acquire 23 used Airbus A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft from Spirit Airlines, Inc.
These aircraft, which were manufactured between 2014 and 2019 and are powered by V2527-A5 and V2533-A5 Select-One™ jet engines, will be the largest-ever acquisition of non-leased aircraft of similar vintages for GA Telesis. This strategic move will greatly enhance the company's fleet portfolio and strengthen its ability to meet the growing global demand for narrow-body aircraft.

The acquired aircraft will be marketed to GA Telesis' extensive customer base around the world for continued commercial airline operations. According to Marc Cho, President of GA Telesis LIFT Group, this is an exciting development for the company. "We are thrilled to announce this significant acquisition, which adds a large number of highly sought-after Airbus A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft to our portfolio," he said. Cho also highlighted the efficiency, performance, and reliability of these aircraft as key factors that make them attractive options for airlines worldwide.
This latest acquisition comes on the heels of GA Telesis' recent purchase of several on-lease aircraft from Avolon. In addition to the Spirit transaction, the company has over 20 more aircraft in its acquisition pipeline that are expected to close in the next few months. With these developments, GA Telesis is solidifying its position as a major player in the commercial aviation industry.
