PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Floridant -- The Board of Governors of Frenchman's Creek Beach & Country Club announced the appointment of Rob Oosterhuis as its next General Manager and Chief Operating Officer.
Rob is expected to join Frenchman's Creek later this summer, following his tenure at Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, where he has served as General Manager and COO since 2020. Under his leadership, Royal Palm earned recognition as a Platinum Club of America and a Platinum Club of the World and received the prestigious Distinguished Clubs designation. He played a key role in elevating the club's reputation for exceptional service, strong member engagement, and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Royal Palm, Rob led the renowned Sherwood Country Club and spent nearly 15 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, serving in leadership roles in Dallas, Costa Rica, and Santa Barbara. He has been recognized for his passion for hospitality, luxury service, and golf, as well as for creating meaningful experiences that foster community and connection.

Rob, a PGA Professional, is widely respected across the golf and private club industry. His honors include recognition by his PGA Section as Golf Professional of the Year in his executive role, the Professional Development Award, and the Bill Strausbaugh Award for mentorship and leadership. Most recently, he was named 2025 General Manager of the Year by Golf Business Network.
Rob remains actively engaged in advancing the private club industry and currently serves on the National Board of Directors of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA). His professional designations include Certified Club Manager (CCM), Certified Chief Executive (CCE), and Community Association Manager (CAM). He is also a long-standing member of the PGA of America.
"Having spent parts of his early life in South Africa, Southern California, England, and later New Jersey, Rob brings a uniquely global perspective on hospitality, leadership, and culture," Frenchman's Creek representatives noted.
