About the Author: Homer L Hartage is a former Orange County Commissioner. He is the author of "Family and Professional Guardianship" and "The Memory Box," both expanding on his work in Alzheimer's awareness. "The Memory Box" focuses on young children and their love for elders with diminished memory, while "Family and Professional Guardianship" serves as a guide for families and professional guardians caring for loved ones with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities. Homer is the president of Agedcare, a professional guardianship company, and the Hartage Foundation, Inc., a Florida charity.
Homer is also a graduate of Seton Hall University with a degree in Psychology.
