He served his community in various roles and for the past 15 years, he worked tirelessly at the Zephyrhills Police Department to ensure the safety of its citizens. His dedication and service will not be forgotten.

In recognition of Sergeant Dixon's contributions and to honor his memory, Governor DeSantis has directed that the flag of the State of Florida be flown at half-staff at both the Zephyrhills Police Department and Zephyrhills City Hall from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, February 1, 2024. This gesture serves as a reminder of Sergeant Dixon's selfless service and his impact on the community he served.
