TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a busy day at the state capitol, Governor Ron DeSantis signed multiple bills into law. Among them were CS/HB 687, which addresses driving and boating offenses, and CS/CS/HB 383, which pertains to the purchase and possession of firearms by law enforcement officers, correctional officers, correctional probation officers, and servicemembers.

Other bills signed by the governor include CS/HB 703, which focuses on utility relocation; HB 711, also known as the Spectrum Alert bill; CS/HB 929, which aims to improve firefighter health and safety; CS/CS/HB 961, concerning the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; CS/HB 1049, which addresses tampering with or harassing court officials; CS/HB 1353, related to home health care services; CS/CS/HB 1559, targeting vexatious litigants; CS/HB 4053 for Duval County; and both CS/CS/HB 4073 and HB 4075 for Leon County.
