Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis Reappoints Two to the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has reappointed Arthur "Chip" Diehl III and Gary Harrod to the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority.

Diehl, who currently serves as the Managing Director for Diehl & Associates, brings a wealth of experience to the Authority. He is a distinguished veteran of the United States Air Force and has been awarded both the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit Medal. Diehl retired from the Air Force with the rank of Brigadier General. In addition to his military career, Diehl is also actively involved in his community. He currently serves on the Hillsborough Community College District Board of Trustees and is a member of the Florida Defense Support Commission. Diehl holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the United States Air Force Academy and a master's degree in systems management from the University of Southern California.

Joining Diehl on the Authority is Gary Harrod, Chief Executive Officer of Harrod Properties, Inc. Harrod brings with him extensive experience in finance and business management. He is also a veteran of both the Florida and Georgia National Guard. Harrod currently serves on the Bank of Tampa Board of Directors and previously served on the University of Tampa Board of Trustees. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas Tech University.

The reappointment of these two highly qualified individuals to the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority will undoubtedly bring valuable expertise and leadership to this important organization.
