TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Joseph LeDonne and Katherine Miller to the Volusia County Court. LeDonne, of Port Orange, has been an Assistant State Attorney for the Seventh Judicial Circuit since 2015 and a Senior Attorney for the Florida Department of Children and Families prior to that. He holds a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a juris doctor from Stetson University. He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Campbell. Miller, of Daytona Beach, is an Attorney for Wright & Casey, P.A., having previously been a Partner at Cobb & Cole, P.A. She holds a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and a juris doctor from Stetson University. She fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Schumann.
