TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed two new members to the Acquisition and Restoration Council. Joshua Gamblin and Will Watts have been selected to join the council, bringing their expertise and experience to the table.

Gamblin, currently serving as the Ranch Manager of Stolen Saddle Ranch, has an impressive background in natural resource management and wildlife conservation. He previously held positions as Land Manager, Wildlife Biologist, and Private Land Burn Team Coordinator at Tall Timbers Research Station and Land Conservancy. Gamblin holds a bachelor's degree in natural resource management from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a master's degree in forest resources and species conservation from the University of Florida.

Joining Gamblin on the council is Will Watts, who currently serves as Assistant Secretary of Engineering and Operations for the Florida Department of Transportation. In this role, he oversees environmental mitigation, wildlife crossings, and FDOT's federal assignment of NEPA. Watts is also actively involved in his community as a member of the Florida Engineering Society and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Florida State University.
