TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed three individuals to the Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority. The newly appointed members are Brian Crawford, Wesley Maul, and Staci Sims.

Crawford, a resident of Gainesville, brings a wealth of experience to the authority as the Founder and Principal at Concept Companies. He also serves as a board member for Flagler Hospital Health Services and Lacerta Therapeutics. Crawford's educational background includes attending Criswell Bible College.

Joining Crawford on the authority is Wesley Maul, also from Gainesville. Maul is the Owner of Admiral Strategy Group and previously served as the Director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics, as well as a juris doctor from the University of Florida.

The third appointee is Staci Sims from Newberry. Sims currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation and is also appointed to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women. She previously held positions as General Counsel and Director of Government and Community Affairs for the federation. Sims holds a bachelor's degree in food and resource economics and a juris doctor from the University of Florida.

These appointments by Governor DeSantis demonstrate his commitment to bringing experienced and qualified individuals to serve on important boards such as the Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority.
