TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ Tallahassee, FL - Governor Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of ten individuals to the Prison Rehabilitative Industries and Diversified Enterprises, Inc. Board of Directors. The newly appointed members are Kimberly Banks, James Baiardi, Marvin "Walker" Clemmons, Gino Collura, Alan Garey, Cory Godwin, David Kilcrease, Denver Stutler Jr., James Upchurch, and John "William" Whitehurst.
Banks brings a wealth of financial expertise to the board as she currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Jacksonville University. She has previously held positions as the Chief Financial Officer for the Florida Department of Corrections and a Senior Governmental Analyst for the Executive Office of the Governor. Banks holds a bachelor's degree in computer information technology from the University of Central Florida and a master's degree in business administration from the Florida Institute of Technology.
James Baiardi joins the board with over 30 years of experience as a Correctional Officer. He has also served as a Principal Officer for Corrections USA and is currently the State Corrections Chapter President for the Florida Police Benevolent Association. In addition to his extensive career in corrections, Baiardi is also active in his community.
Marvin "Walker" Clemmons brings a diverse background to the board with experience as both a Franchise Owner of Subway and a Realtor for Electronic Realty Associates Real Estate. He has also served as a Warden for the Florida Department of Corrections. Clemmons is an active member of various organizations including the Florida Free and Accepted Masons and the National Association of Realtors. He holds an associate degree in criminal justice from Tallahassee State College.

Gino Collura brings his expertise in management to the board as he is currently the Founder of Big Guava Management. He serves on several advisory boards including Pasco-Hernando State College District Board of Trustees and Heroes Adapt, Inc. Collura holds a bachelor's degree, a master's degree in international relations, and a doctorate in neuroanthropology from the University of South Florida.
Alan Garey, the Chief Executive Officer and President of Decimal Engineering, also joins the board. He is an active member of the South Florida Manufacturers Association Board of Directors and has previously served on the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Garey holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Florida Southern College.
Cory Godwin brings his experience as a Jail Services Coordinator for the Florida Sheriffs Association to the board. He has also served as the Chief Deputy Tax Collector for Bay and Walton Counties and was an Assistant Warden for the Florida Department of Corrections. Godwin is a veteran of the United States Army Reserve and holds a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Columbia Southern University.
David Kilcrease, who recently retired after 35 years as a Lieutenant in the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, also joins the board. He has been recognized for his service with numerous awards including the 2022 "President's Award" from the Jacksonville Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police. Kilcrease is an active member of his community and previously served as Treasurer for the Jacksonville Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Denver Stutler Jr., Founder and Chief Executive Officer of USST Holdings, LLC, brings his extensive experience in leadership to the board. He has previously served as Secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation, Chief of Staff to Governor Jeb Bush, and Chief of Staff at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Stutler was also recognized as a Distinguished Alumni from University of Central Florida's College of Engineering in 2021. He holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from University of Central Florida.
James Upchurch joins with experience as a Self-Employed Consultant and Expert Witness for both Upchurch Consulting, LLC and the Florida Department of Corrections. He is a veteran of the United States Army and has previously served as the Assistant Secretary for Institutions at the Florida Department of Corrections. Upchurch holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from Delta State University.
John "William" Whitehurst, a School Safety Officer for the Walton County School District, also joins the board. He has previously served as a Warden for the Florida Department of Corrections and was President of the Walton County Youth Athletic League. Whitehurst is a veteran of the Florida Army National Guard and has been an active member in his community through organizations such as Panhandle Youth Football Organization and Defuniak Springs Kiwanis Club.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate, but Governor DeSantis is confident in their qualifications and believes they will bring valuable perspectives to the Prison Rehabilitative Industries and Diversified Enterprises, Inc. Board of Directors.
