Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints James Satcher as Manatee County Supervisor of Elections

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ In a press release issued today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of James Satcher as the new Manatee County Supervisor of Elections. Satcher, a resident of Ellenton, brings a wealth of experience and community involvement to the role. As a Minister and Manatee County Commissioner for District 1, he has been actively involved in his community for many years. Satcher has also successfully led a nonprofit organization for over two decades. In addition to his previous roles, he has served as Chair of the Manatee Port Authority and the Tourist Development Council in 2023. He is also a member of the Coastal and Heartland National Estuary Partnership Policy Commission and the Environmental Lands Management and Acquisition Advisory Committee. Satcher holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Berry College. With his extensive background and qualifications, Satcher is well-equipped to serve as Manatee County's new Supervisor of Elections.
