TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Howard Baum to the Board of Chiropractic Medicine. Baum, a resident of Brandon, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the board.

Baum is a self-employed Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a veteran of the United States Army, where he retired with the rank of Colonel. He is actively involved in his community, serving as a counseling clinician for the Tampa Bay Regional Critical Incident Team and as a counseling team member for Hope Justice Ministry. He is also a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers.

Baum's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas Tech University, a master's degree in systems management from the University of Southern California, and a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Argosy University.
