Over 200 Thanksgiving meal baskets, including turkey and holiday staples, will be distributed to South Florida families in need at this year's community giveaway event.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Floridant -- With Thanksgiving approaching, international recording artist Flo Rida and his Big Dreams for Kids Foundation, in collaboration with Strong Arm International Music Group, The Law Office of Reginald A. Mathis & Associates, Beta Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and other local businesses and community organizations, have teamed up to host there annual Turkey & Thanksgiving Basket Distribution event on Saturday, November 16, 2024  at Studio 183 Lounge located at 230 NW 183rd Street, Miami, FL 33169. The event will kick off at 11:00AM and supplies will be given out on a first come first served basis.

Each year this event aims to help alleviate the holiday burden for families by providing a full Thanksgiving meal. This year's meal box includes a turkey and other essential Thanksgiving fixings including stuffing, rice, cranberry sauce, green beans, and cornbread. Over 200 meal boxes will be distributed, with the goal of feeding more than 2,000 people.

"It's a blessing to bless others, and each year my team and I make sure no one goes hungry on Thanksgiving," said Flo Rida. As the founder of Big Dreams for Kids Foundation, the Grammy-nominated artist and philanthropist is committed to supporting the South Florida community, especially during the holiday season.

This annual event is part of a larger mission to give back to families who may face financial challenges during the holidays.
