BUNNELL, Fla. - Floridant -- Flagler OARS (Open Arms Recovery Services) invites the community to a festive Halloween Soiree on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1 Enterprise Dr #1, Bunnell, FL 32110. This family-friendly event celebrates recovery, community connection, and the spirit of the season in a sober, welcoming environment.
The Halloween Soiree offers a unique opportunity for individuals, families, and friends to enjoy a day of festivities while supporting Flagler OARS' mission to provide education, support, and peer services to those impacted by substance use disorder.
The event will feature live music and entertainment, a costume contest with prizes, a pumpkin carving contest, finger foods and kid-friendly activities and games.
"This event embodies our vision of creating a stigma-free community where everyone belongs," said Pam Birtolo, Director of Flagler OARS. "We're excited to offer a fun, inclusive celebration that brings people together in a sober setting and shows that recovery is something to celebrate."

The Halloween Soiree is open to all community members, whether they are in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for a unique way to celebrate the season. The event emphasizes Flagler OARS' core values of integrity, dignity, compassion, belonging, and optimism.
Flagler OARS serves as a recovery harbor for individuals and families in Flagler County affected by substance use disorder, offering peer support, community education, and resources for long-term recovery.

About Flagler OARS
Flagler OARS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, support, and peer services to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder in Flagler County. Through compassion, community engagement, and evidence-based programming, Flagler OARS works to create a stigma-free environment that fosters long-term recovery and hope.
Flagler OARS currently distributes over 400 boxes of Narcan monthly and provides a variety of recovery support groups throughout Flagler County. The organization continues to work with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to expand recovery-friendly initiatives countywide. For the month of June, 2025, they provided support to 361 individuals, distributed 5,496 Narcan doses, participated in 52 events and hosted/coordinated an additional 34 events - totalling 431.75 hours - and facilitated 20 groups - fostering connection and healing.
