ORLANDO, Fla. ~ ORLANDO, Fla. - First Lady Casey DeSantis, alongside nonprofit organizations 'Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Inc.' and 'Commission 127, Inc.', made a heartwarming delivery to a recently placed foster family in Central Florida today. The delivery included bunkbeds for the family and $20,000 checks for each organization to further their ongoing service. These funds were provided through the Hope Florida Fund.

The announcement of this delivery comes just one day after the First Lady awarded nearly $400,000 to top-performing Hope Florida churches. The Hope Florida Fund is made possible through the generosity and contributions of the Florida private sector at no expense to taxpayers. It was launched by First Lady Casey DeSantis in July 2022 with the goal of harnessing the charity of the private sector to support deserving local nonprofit organizations that align with the Hope Florida initiative.

During her visit, First Lady Casey DeSantis expressed her gratitude for Floridians who dedicate their time, talent, and resources to help fulfill needs in their community. She also highlighted how an act of goodwill can make a profound impact on a family in need. The additional funds from the Hope Florida Fund will help these organizations continue their mission.
