- Accommodating Disabilities and Pregnancy: Developments Your Agency Needs to Know – This session will highlight key developments in this complicated area of the law, including recent findings from the EEOC, how accommodation requirements for pregnant employees differ from disability-based accommodations, and what an agency must show to support an undue hardship defense.
- Post-COVID Reasonable Accommodation Requests: Responding Effectively – EEOC Administrative Judges Oshia Banks and Shanon Levin will explore solutions to real-world difficulties presented by reasonable accommodation requests in this ever-changing post-COVID era while providing guidance on minimizing missteps throughout the interactive process and navigating the hearings process.
- Telework, Leave, and Reassignment: Addressing Complex Accommodations Confidently – In this expert-level session, veteran disability program managers Kendra Duckworth Shock and Laura Tronge will help attendees understand the parameters of the three accommodations and when they are appropriate.
