MIAMI - Floridant -- Bliss Imprints, a Miami based event business, has pivoted its manufacturing of acrylic event displays to manufacture Student Desk Guards designed to protect students and teachers with clear classroom visibility.

As schools nationwide are urgently scrambling to balance the need to open schools, with the need to keep students, teachers and staff safe, Student Desk Guards are being installed as a another line of defense to keep potentially virus loaded droplets from spreading from person to person when coughing, sneezing or simply speaking.

"Our transition to manufacturing Student Desk Guards started when our former public elementary school principal asked for classroom safety options. Bliss was already offering sneeze guards to retail stores, offices and nail salons to protect employees and customers, so why not redesign the same materials to fit classroom desks," says Eddy Martinez, owner and father of 4. "Our priority was to design a quality affordable solution given schools tight budgets, while still allowing students a clear, unobstructed view of their classroom."
