SARASOTA, Fla. - Floridant -- West Coast Podiatry Center is delighted to announce the addition of Dr. Jean Holewinksi to our esteemed team of podiatrists. Dr. Holewinksi brings a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care, making her a valuable asset to our practice and the Sarasota community.
Raised in Toledo, Ohio, in a large Polish family, Dr. Holewinksi learned the values of hard work and the importance of family and friends early on, shaping her into the dedicated doctor she is today. Her passion for biology and medicine led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Toledo and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University.
Dr. Holewinksi completed her residency at Jackson North Medical Center in Miami, Florida, where she was invited to join her program director's practice. Since then, she has been a proud Florida resident, contributing significantly to the field of podiatry. Over the years, Dr. Holewinksi has held numerous prestigious positions, including Department Chair of Podiatry for the Medical Executive Committee, member of the Peer Review Committee, Surgical Residency Coordinator, and Adjunct Professor for Kent State University and Barry School of Podiatric Medicine. She also co-founded the Limb Preservation Program at Aventura Hospital.

Outside her professional life, Dr. Holewinksi enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, engaging in sports, and fitness activities like spinning and weight training. Her goal as a podiatrist is to help her patients maintain their mobility and active lifestyles.
"My family and I are excited to be part of the beautiful Sarasota community, my husband's hometown, and look forward to building relationships with new patients," said Dr. Holewinksi.
"Having a doctor of Dr. Holewinski's caliber join our team reinforces our efforts to expand our podiatric care in Bradenton, Sarasota, and Venice Florida," said Dr. Alissa Zdancewicz, Managing Partner of West Coast Podiatry Center.
