Unprecedented Speed and Precision Mark DCMS Network's Success in Digitizing Schools for CSPNE
MIAMI - Floridant -- DCMS Network, a leading company specializing in As-Built Services, recently completed an ambitious project for the Conseil Scolaire Public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE), digitizing its entire building portfolio in just eight days.
The CSPNE, a French School Commission headquartered in North Bay, Ontario, is committed to supporting the region's French-speaking communities by providing education services ranging from early childhood to college degrees. The recent student population growth has challenged the Commission to explore innovative solutions for optimizing its infrastructure. Hence, the CSPNE partnered with DCMS Network to create digital twins of their schools and administration buildings.
Working meticulously for over 10 hours per day, the highly skilled DCMS team, consisting of a drone pilot, a LiDAR specialist, and a virtual visit technician, managed to scan all 15 schools. This was a significant achievement given the combined area of the schools exceeding 53,000 square meters. Schools were scanned during the day, with some sections requiring a revisit for a more accurate capture.

Data from the scans was promptly uploaded for processing, transforming them into digital deliverables within a mere month and a half. A rigorous round of quality control by the Montreal-based DCMS team ensured the accuracy of the 3D models before their submission to the CSPNE.
The completion of this large-scale project in such a short timeframe highlights the efficiency and capabilities of the DCMS Network. The precise, reliable data provided by DCMS aids the CSPNE's future expansion plans, making the process more streamlined and efficient.
"The efficiency of our scanning process, coupled with advanced tools, allowed us to create digital twins of 15 schools within an impressively short span of eight days," says Palomino from DCMS. "This project has showcased our capabilities in handling large projects efficiently, providing our clients with accurate data to facilitate their planning and decision making."
