David Boland, Inc. Awarded $9.7M Construction Contract With U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile

COCOA BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- On 10 September 2024, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded David Boland, Inc. the firm-fixed-price contract for the Final Denial Barriers project at the South Gate of Patrick Space Force Base in Florida. The project is planned to be performed within a duration of approximately 16 months and has a contract value of $9.7M.

The construction at the South Gate entry control point will include the construction of a new overwatch facility as well as reconfiguration of the existing roadway network to accommodate traffic queuing and calming measures, including the construction of final denial barriers.
