BRADENTON, Fla. - Floridant -- Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware's spring "Round Up for the Kids" campaign raised $8,607 to support Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital through the Children's Miracle Network.
Customers were able to round up their purchases at the register to support life-changing medical care for children and teens across the region. Donations collected at Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware and Crowder's Gifts & Gadgets locations in Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch support Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. The 259-bed teaching hospital in St. Petersburg stands at the forefront of discovery, leading innovative research to cure and prevent childhood diseases while training the next generation of pediatric experts.
"Our region is blessed to have one of the country's top children's hospitals right here, but you don't get to be the best without extensive support from the community," said Michael Wynn, president of Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware. "There are few causes more important than protecting the health of future generations, and it's heartwarming to see our customers once again rise to the challenge by rounding up their purchases."
