JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Floridant -- Cross Regions Group, a multifaceted company specializing in commercial real estate services, announces the company has established Cross Regions Disaster Relief Fund, Inc., a non-profit organization, to aid and support victims of February's devastating earthquakes in Turkey. The company has applied for 501(c)(3) status for Cross Regions Disaster Relief Fund.
Leaders of the non-profit organization are collecting monetary donations to provide disaster relief aid and support rebuilding efforts in Turkey. David Ergisi, President and CEO of Cross Regions Group, will establish matching funds for all donations up to $100,000. To donate, visit www.crossregionsrelief.com.
"The catastrophic earthquakes are immensely tragic, and we are doing our part to raise awareness and support to those in need," said Ergisi, who is from Turkey and lost several family members. "The country not only needs immediate assistance but will require continued support in the coming months to address the tremendous devastation on all levels, from medical needs to rebuilding homes, schools and infrastructure. There will be relief needs for many months, possibly many years, after this disaster."

Tens of thousands of people were killed and more injured when a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck southeastern Turkey, near the town of Gaziantep, in early February 2023. The Cross Regions Disaster Relief Fund will focus on humanitarian relief efforts in Turkey for as long as needed. The fund also will provide support to victims of other natural disasters in the future.
