FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants, (http://www.chwinery.com/) a lifestyle brand centered around food and wine, is opening in Fort Myers on Monday, April 3.
The new restaurant is located at 13671 Olympic Court in Fort Myers, on Six Mile Cypress Parkway near Daniels Parkway, and is the privately-owned company's second Southwest Florida location and its 54th nationwide.
Cooper's Hawk is an award-winning winery, restaurant, artisan market, and Napa-style tasting room concept with headquarters in Downers Grove, Illinois. The company was founded in 2005 by CEO Tim McEnery.
Cooper's Hawk is built upon McEnery's passionate belief that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections. His restaurants are home to over 600,000 Wine Club Members who enjoy limited production Wines of the Month, unique travel and dining experiences, and many other benefits.

The Fort Myers culinary team is proudly led by Senior Area Director Tim Mahler and General Manager Clarissa Fleshner, who work closely with Executive Kitchen Manager Jonathan Hood to ensure the utmost in quality and presentation while redefining the modern casual dining experience. The contemporary-American menu is infused with international flavors, and each dish on the menu is listed with a bin number, guiding guests to their selection's perfect wine pairing. The menu also includes a gluten free selection, as well as a kids' menu, carryout and catering.
The winery has received over 500 wine awards, importing grapes from the best vineyards across the globe and producing over 50 varietals. Crafted to please a range of palates, Cooper's Hawk wines include selections that are accessible for those new to the world of wine, as well as complex and full-bodied options for more seasoned drinkers. In addition to the wine menu, guests can choose from a selection of craft cocktails and sangrias made with Cooper's Hawk wine. These include a BIN 61 Sour (Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Lemon Sour, Nightjar) and Sangria-Tini (Botanist Gin, Cointreau, Red Sangria, Sour, Prosecco).

The restaurant's design evokes the architecture of California wine country, welcoming guests into an environment that encourages conversation over food and wine. The expansive space features a large indoor dining area that can accommodate 260 guests as well as outdoor patio seating for 48 guests. The venue also houses flexible private dining space for up to 48 guests that is divisible by a sliding wall that creates two smaller spaces for smaller events. As with every Cooper's Hawk location, the restaurant is fronted by a Napa-style tasting room and retail space.
