FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Floridant -- Business executive William O'Hanlon has formally filed a criminal complaint with the Broward County Sheriff's Office (BSO) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), demanding the immediate arrest and prosecution of Enrique Ruiz and Jader Lopez for their involvement in a large-scale fraud, identity theft, and financial crimes scheme that has defrauded victims of more than $1.5 million.
The complaint, filed under Case #11-2306-004397, alleges that Ruiz stole over $55,000 worth of proprietary sales records, including thousands of customers' sensitive banking information, from Ryan James and Daniels Corp. Ruiz and his associate, Jader Lopez, then used this stolen data to establish a fraudulent telemarketing operation, which was used to illegally withdraw funds from victims' bank accounts without consent.
"This is a blatant case of grand theft, wire fraud, and identity theft. Despite providing clear and compelling evidence to the Broward County Sheriff's Office in 2023 (videos below), no action was taken," said O'Hanlon, who is demanding the immediate reopening of the case. "Because of this inaction, these criminals were allowed to continue their fraudulent activities, stealing over $1.5 million from innocent consumers."
