BRADENTON, Fla. - Floridant -- Coastal Orthopedics (https://www.coastalorthopedics.com/), a full-service provider of comprehensive orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, spine care, diagnostic imaging and physical therapy service, recently welcomed Dr. Parth Kothari as the newest spine surgeon to join its group.

Dr. Kothari is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of all forms of spinal pathology through non-operative and surgical interventions. His practice focuses on conditions in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, including stenosis, disc herniations, radiculopathy, myelopathy, scoliosis, trauma, tumors and infection.

Taking a patient-centered approach, Dr. Kothari utilizes the latest in minimally invasive techniques with his patients to alleviate pain and allow patients to improve functionally. He has a particular interest in outpatient spine surgery, allowing patients to recover faster from surgical interventions.

Dr. Kothari completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the renowned Rothman Orthopedic Institute/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his fellowship training in spine surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. While at these institutions, he was mentored by world experts in the field, learning cutting-edge techniques, including disc replacements, minimally invasive spinal decompression and lateral interbody fusions.

A strong believer in evidence-based medicine, Dr. Kothari has been a prolific researcher in the field of spine surgery, with over 60 peer-reviewed publications.
