City of Jacksonville to Hold First-Ever JaxReady Fest

~ Jacksonville, FL - JaxReady Fest is set to take place on May 10th and 11th at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The event, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, aims to educate and empower the community in emergency preparedness.

Organized by the Emergency Preparedness Division, JaxReady Fest will feature over sixty partner agencies and experts who will provide insights into their vital roles within the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations, learn essential skills, and explore interactive exhibits showcasing emergency communication technologies and disaster response equipment.

In addition, informative workshops covering topics such as severe weather safety, Narcan administration, and home emergency planning will be available for attendees to attend. The event also promises fun activities for all ages including scavenger hunts, preparedness games, and giveaways.
