FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Southwest Florida's dining scene is heating up as the list of highly anticipated Sizzle Dining restaurants and menus are unveiled at SizzleDining.org.
From Sept. 3-30, locals and visitors to Southwest Florida are invited to explore the region's diverse culinary scene while dining with purpose as $1 from each Sizzle Dining meal will benefit Blessings in a Backpack, a local nonprofit that provides food and nourishment to elementary students during the school year, so they have healthy meals and snacks to eat over the weekend. The 2024 event featured 114 local restaurants and raised more than $60,000.
"Sizzle Dining celebrates our diverse culinary options while driving local and visitors to area restaurants at a time when they need a big boost to keep their doors open and families fed," said Guy Clarke, co-founder, Sizzle Dining. "And with the slower season upon us, September is the ideal time to check out new restaurants or visit your tried-and-true favorites again."
Once again, Sizzle Dining has broken its own record with 128 restaurants participating from Cape Coral to Marco Island, including 41 restaurants joining the dining event for the first time. Additionally, eight restaurants will host special one-day-only themed three-course brunch options throughout the month on Saturdays and Sundays for those looking to savor and celebrate earlier in the day. Tickets will be available at SizzleDining.org starting Aug. 18.
