CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Floridant -- Individuals thinking about starting their own business, but need some mentoring, are invited to apply to the Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute. Next class is June 2, 2025 to July 10, 2025 in Cape Coral. Class meets Mondays & Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the West Cape Coral Goodwill Community Resource Center, located inside the West Cape Goodwill at 1499 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral.
The MicroEnterprise Institute is a six-week training program to help emerging entrepreneurs start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a comprehensive training course and prepare a solid plan to guide their start-up. They work with mentors who are successful businesspeople and hear from subject matter experts in areas of accounting, legal, marketing, insurance, and funding.
An easy-to-use workbook, used by organizations across America, assists in transforming vision into a plan for a successful business.

A recent program graduate says, "This course helped me organize and plan the steps for creating my business. Coming in, I had no idea how to start a business that would lead to success, and now I have that."
