NAPLES, Fla. - Floridant -- A Southwest Florida nonprofit dedicated to supporting local cancer patients on their healing journeys is hosting a 'Retro Revival' celebration of the '70s and '80s as its signature fall fundraiser.
The Cancer Alliance Network (CAN) benefit will be held at Kalea Bay, 13910 Old Coast Road in Naples, on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. Attendees can travel back in time and groove to the sounds of disco, funk, rock and soul, while making a difference for local children and families battling cancer.
CAN is devoted to providing dignity to local cancer patients and their families in Collier and Lee Counties through financial aid, resources and support. Through generous community support, CAN turns despair into hope by providing a lifeline during a very difficult time.
The Retro Revival fundraiser will include a dinner buffet, top-shelf open bar and plenty of dancing. Participants are encouraged to wear their best period-era attire from the age of bell bottoms, fringe vests, wide lapels and more.

About Cancer Alliance Network
The mission of Cancer Alliance Network is to help individuals facing a cancer diagnosis receive the dignity and relief they deserve by offering non-medical financial assistance for essential living expenses, which may include rent, mortgage, car payments, utilities, gas and food. Since 2002, our support programs have served thousands of individuals with cancer and their families in Collier, expanding to Lee County in 2017 and now also serving children in Hendry and Glades counties. We strive for a community where those impacted with cancer and their loved ones can access quality support, at no cost to the family, as they navigate the financial strain and emotional stress of the disease and focus their attention on the fight against cancer.
