FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- BSSW Architects has been awarded a pair of multi-year contracts by Lee Health to provide architectural services for vital health care facilities in Southwest Florida. Both contracts are for a term of four years, with projects having an estimated construction value of up to $4 million each.
One contract covers Lee Health's acute care facilities, which include hospitals, emergency rooms, urgent care centers, dialysis centers and hospice care. The other contract addresses architectural and design services for outpatient and business facilities, including medical offices, outpatient centers, pharmacies and administrative offices.
"Health care providers in Southwest Florida must build facilities in anticipation of future population growth while simultaneously adapting to accommodate advances in medical technology and research," said BSSW Vice President and Principal Architect Kevin Williams, AIA. "BSSW has provided architectural and design services for doctor's offices, medical clinics and hospitals for decades, and we're excited to help Lee Health accomplish its mission of empowering healthier lives through care and compassion."
