NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Brightwater Lagoon is celebrating dads with two events, including its Father's Day Out: Leather & Whiskey Class and Pints & Ponytails event.
On Friday, June 5, guests will have the opportunity to craft a personalized Old-Fashioned cocktail with their choice of syrups and bitters with an Angel's Envy rep. After enjoying a cocktail, the Boho Hat Co. leather branding station will be onsite where dads can take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake, including a key chain, card wallet or koozie.
The event will take place from 8-10 p.m. Tickets are $40 and include one drink, one leather branded item and one Day Ticket for a future visit. Space is limited. To reserve a ticket, visit MetroLagoons.com/Ticketed-Events (https://www.metrolagoons.com/ticketed-events).
On Wednesday, June 24, Florida Academy Cosmetology School will be onsite to teach dads how to style their daughters' hair. The class will teach four different hairstyles, and instructors will provide product recommendations for hair care and maintenance. Each participant will receive a bag of decorative clips, hair elastics and bobby pins to take home. After the event, dads can enjoy a free draft beer at the Sandbar while children receive a complimentary Shirley Temple.
