FORT MYERS, Fla. - Floridant -- Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County has two Adopt-a-Club sponsorship opportunities available for businesses willing to host holiday parties in December.
Adopt-a-Club sponsors commit to hosting a holiday party, either at a club or their place of business, that includes festive décor, food and music. Sponsors also provide gifts for each club member in attendance.
"Our Adopt-a-Club sponsors essentially handle every aspect of party planning, from deciding what type of cookies and candy should be served to selecting age-appropriate gifts and coordinating Santa Claus' arrival," said Denise Gergley, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County. "For some of our club members, the gifts they receive at the holiday parties are the only presents they unwrap, so our Adopt-a-Club sponsors play a big role in brightening spirits during the holiday season."
This year's Adopt-a-Club sponsors include GL Homes (Renaissance Preserve Neighborhood Club), Hertz (North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts School Club), Suncoast Credit Union (Park Meadows Community Club) and Sharetea (Pueblo Bonita Neighborhood Club). The two club locations with Adopt-a-Club sponsorships still available are the Lehigh Acres Community Club in Lehigh Acres and James Stephens Elementary School Club in Fort Myers.
