JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Floridant -- Better Together, a nonprofit on a mission to build strong families and communities, is offering two hiring events to job seekers in Jacksonville on March 12 and March 19.
The March 12 job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Normandy Park Baptist Church, located at 7050 Normandy Blvd. in Jacksonville. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/Normandy or by texting "JOBS" to 844-987-3949.
The March 19 job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Voice of Joy World Ministries, located at 5730 Bowden Road, Suite 105, in Jacksonville. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/VOJWorldMinistries (https://bettertogetherus.org/VOJWordMinistries) or by texting "JOBS" to 844-987-3949.

Registration is now open for job seekers and employers to participate in the March events. With a spirit of hope and celebration, the church-based job fairs empower job seekers by connecting them with local employers who are ready to hire, while offering supportive services that foster meaningful connections and increase opportunities for lasting employment. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to participants to review resumes, and additional services will be available onsite.
With job openings available across various industry sectors, participating employers for the March 12 event include Goodwill Industries of North Florida, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Manpower Randstad USA and more. Local resource partners will also join Better Together in offering various onsite services, including Alive Credit Union; Jacksonville Public Library; Normandy Park Baptist Church; PNC Bank; Statewide Workforce Development; Sunshine Health and Volunteers in Medicine.

Participating employers for the March 19 event include Goodwill Industries of North Florida, Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, Labor Finders, RaceTrac, Randstad USA and more. Resource partners joining Better Together in offering various onsite services include Jacksonville Public Library, PNC Bank, Statewide Workforce Development and Volunteers in Medicine.

The community job fairs are part of Better Together's "Better Jobs" program, which has helped more than 48,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states.
