VERO BEACH, Fla. - Floridant -- Benchmark International is pleased to announce the transaction between Triton Submarines and the Ray Dalio Trust.

Triton Submarines, the world's leading producer of civilian submersibles, revealed that Bridgewater Associates Founder Ray Dalio and filmmaker James Cameron are joining the company to advance ocean exploration technology.

The announcement was made on December 11, 2022, at the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History during the 10th anniversary of Cameron's DEEPSEA CHALLENGE expedition. Triton Founder Patrick Lahey and Dalio joined Cameron on stage to discuss their partnership to support tech-enabled ocean exploration.

Dalio and his son Mark co-founded OceanX, a philanthropic initiative supporting ocean exploration and media. OceanX's flagship vessel, the OceanXplorer, is equipped with two Triton submersibles, which have been key in award-winning productions like BBC's Blue Planet II and the upcoming National Geographic series OceanXplorers (WT), executive produced by Cameron.
